Lovely – Am I right in thinking that the 1st Superintendent of the museum, Richard Owen, was presented with the archaeopteryx fossil in 1860 (ish)?
If so, given how indisputable the fossil is in its features, why is it that the fossil (described from 3.03 in this vid) is not better known and accepted as the first indisputable “transitional fossil” between reptiles and birds, in order to stop all the nonsense STILL spouted by “creationists,” today (which idiotically claim that no such transitional fossils between species exist) ?
