Science museum in London is a must see for those more interested in natural sciences than art

What about the musée d’orsay in paris? It houses a great collection of impressionists, expressionists, not to mention medieval art.

Orsay is purely a 19th century museum; you won’t find any single medieval piece of art insinde its walls.
For medieval art, you should visit Cluny museum instead.

The Smithsonian institute is absolutely unreal!! It is gigantic and has so many artifacts from every continent!!! It is so much you cannot do it in one day!!! I travel to Paris in October and plan to visit the lourve and others there. I can’t wait. I majored in history in college and have a bachelors degree. And i have to say despite USAs shorter existence than other European cultures we sure have spent delicate hours assuring we are loaded with treasures from around the world and as you know us Americans like to “indulge” in the senses as we are so hated for. However that too goes into affect for EVERY aspect of our culture. Including our museums!!!! We like having grandeur and ours do show such!!!!

Nope. The Louvre is WAAAAAAAY to big? BUT…On the other side of the riv er the Seine. You see Musée d’Orsay. (The old train station North…..). Completely altered to collect just paintings. The MOST beautiful museum EVER……..
